(GAM’s buddy system provides a Soldier with an assigned buddy upon request. Your GAM buddy provides encouragement and a form of accountability to you, subject to your GAM Instructor.)

Two are better than one because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Why do you need a GAM buddy?

Buddy Rules

Same-gender Soldiers will be buddies.
Keep your buddy informed of the tasks assigned to you by your instructor.
Pass on information that might affect your buddy.
Discuss training activities and general communique / recent circular postings.
Encourage your buddy to successfully complete all training requirements.
Inform your instructor of any problems or status changes in your buddy.
Assist your buddy to uphold the GAM core values.
