True Warfare Is With The Word

Many Christians think warfare is just about praying and talking. They pray and pray, but their problems remain. Why? Because the real weapon is the Word of God. Scripture calls it the sword of the Spirit. And you can’t wield that sword if every time you come to God, you’re the one talking.

The wisdom of David, Joseph, Paul, Daniel, and others is available in the Scriptures. But if you’re too busy running from counselor to counselor, you will never hear them. That is why many Christians fall into trouble—they listen only to human advisers who often don’t ask God at all. Their advice sounds good, but it lacks God.

If you want lasting victory, sit with the Word. Build your shield of faith by hearing what God says. Stop rushing to talk all the time. Sit still, listen, and let the sword of the Spirit equip you to win your battles.
