Imagine a young man. He prayed, “Oh Lord, give me new songs to sing for You.” Heaven answered. A song began to come: “Oh, I want to sing for You, Mighty God…” But when the answer was arriving, the young man had gone back to worldly songs. He was singing, “I love that girl…” And by the time the heavenly song arrived, it was diverted. It came out as a secular hit in Lagos: “Girl, I want to sing for you.”
That’s how many songs are stolen. And when such a person stands before God on judgment day, God will show him: “Remember that time you asked Me? I sent you 21 songs. You never received them.” He will realize he was meant to supply songs to the kingdom, but they were diverted.
Do you know many songs you hear were not released by the person who wrote them? Sometimes Christians receive tunes and sell them. An unbeliever buys, paints it with sin, and turns it into an immoral song. That is spiritual fraud.
One of the things God wants to restore is what has been lost—songs, business ideas, and other gifts stolen because of fear and disobedience.
