The Three Battlefields—Soul, Church, And World

There are three major battlegrounds: the soul, the church, and the world. You may survive in one but fall in another. Some have fought well in their personal lives but became devils in the church. Others stood firm in the church but were defeated in the world through money, lust, or compromise. You must learn to win in all three.

• In the soul, the devil tries to establish cracks early.
• In the church, he stirs division and envy.
• In the world, he uses temptations and the love of sin.

Each battleground demands vigilance. Don’t think the world will spare you because you are born again. Jesus said you are in the world but not of it, which means you must fight daily. The love of money, temptations at work, pressures in society—all these are battlefronts. To survive, you must fight in all three places, and you must fight to win.
