Displacement must be followed by replacement. That is how God works. He told Israel, “I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the field multiply against you. Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land.” (Exodus 23:29–30)
God is not just a man of war with power; He is a man of war with strategy. He fights with wisdom, not haste. If you clear out the enemy but leave the ground empty, another danger will rise to take its place. That is why victory must be managed with understanding. The same God who drives out darkness also commands that light must fill the space left behind.
This is how the Spirit of God operates — He removes, but He also replaces. When He takes away, He fills with something new. Every empty space is an invitation for something to enter. The question is: what will you allow to occupy it?
