If you are in your day season, you should not burn out. Day seasons are times of strength, clarity, and service. But even day seasons require rest.
The key is learning how to come out and how to come back in. Many people only know how to go out. That is immaturity. Wisdom is knowing when to withdraw.
You must deliberately schedule rest, prayer, fasting, and silence. Stop everything at intervals. Seek the Lord weekly. Never be constantly busy. Constant busyness destroys spiritual life.
God built rest into Israel’s calendar: weekly Sabbaths, yearly Sabbaths, and even a whole year of rest every seven years. When Israel ignored this, God sent them into captivity so the land could rest.
The better way is intentional withdrawal. Learn to cease activity by choice. Learn night and day rhythms early. If you don’t, busyness will destroy you.
The child of God must learn to stop. Learn to withdraw. Learn to be with God. This is not optional. It is survival.
