Winning with God is not something that just happens by chance. It is not accidental. It follows rules. It follows principles, and those principles have already been identified and handed down to us through men who walked with God and were judged as just. Scripture did not leave us empty-handed. It gave us Moses, Abraham, Samuel, Elijah, Elisha, David. These were not just historical figures. Their counsel, their lives, and what they said were given to equip us for war.
If you ignore them, you will still learn—but you will learn the hard way. You will learn everything from the beginning, by experience, by loss, by pain. But if you receive counsel from those who have gone before you, you gain advantage. That is what wisdom does. It shortens the journey.
A map tells you where you are going before you have ever been there. You may not have experienced it. You may not have touched it, but you can see the direction. You can know what to expect. You can know what to avoid. Everything becomes simpler when you have a map.
This generation has lost appreciation for that. People say, “When I get there, I’ll call you.” Step by step guidance. Five steps, call. Another five steps, call again. That habit weakens the mind. It weakens retention. It weakens the ability to hold instruction. Unfortunately, even though technology has changed things physically, in the spirit realm things have not changed that much. War still requires retention.
If you cannot retain instruction, you are already at a disadvantage against the enemy. The enemy literally trains people to memorize spells and incantations. That commitment to memory strengthens capacity. Winning with God requires clarity and retention. Without it, you are fighting blind.
