We have seen it repeatedly in Scripture. In 1st Samuel 17, David faces Goliath without Saul’s armour.
In the Book of Zechariah 4:6, it says, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit.”
In 1st Corinthians 1:27, it says that God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the strong.
He does not need a large number. Give Him twelve. Give Him the younger brother. Give Him a slave in an Egyptian house. He proves again and again that numbers and status are irrelevant.
Your weakness is likely your best qualification. But this is not a pep talk. You cannot do anything. You are a danger to yourself and others if you try to. Once we settle that you cannot do anything, it would be nice if you sat down and allowed the Spirit to do what He will do.
If He says stand, stand. If He says march, march. If He says lift what is in your hand, lift it.
Do not repeat questions Moses already asked. Do not ask what you already know. Revelation is progressive. Knowledge is layered. Why ask if you should put salt in soup you have seen made a hundred times? Ask new questions. Ask what has not been asked.
Numbers are irrelevant. The question is not, “Can God do it with these few?” The question is, “How do You want us to do it?”
