Instruction
Regiments are special units in the army where soldiers and officers train and serve. It is very important that every soldier (disciple) enlisted in the Army of God learns the basic things about being a soldier, so as to prepare for higher levels of training and specialization (according to his/her callings and giftings).
When someone wants to become a soldier in God’s army, the primary skill he must have is the ability to feed on the word of God and pay attention to sound teaching (see 2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Peter 2:2-5, 2 Peter 1:19). Specialization without proper preparation creates poor soldiers!
Paul (Saul of Tarsus), for example, was known to be very devoted to Judaism (Acts 22:3), but after his conversion to Christianity, he went silent for three years before meeting with Peter, and fourteen years later, he presented himself to the elders in Jerusalem (see Galatians 1:13-19; 2:1-2). There are also times when a soldier may not be in active service or may go underground to prepare for future operations.
There are different levels and seasons of preparation for service in the Lord’s army, and one soldier may serve in one or more regiment(s) at different times.
It is disorderly conduct to skip classes in military training, because general training prepares God’s armed forces to carry out their specific duties.
It is therefore very important that you go through the Basic Training Regiment before moving to the other Regiments listed on this website.
