You know the safest way to avoid trouble?
Stay on your side.
As long as you don’t cross over into enemy territory—into the realm of uncomfortable conversations, difficult assignments, or foreign spiritual ground—there’s no trouble.
If your goal is to never fight, to never risk loss, then stay put. Stay among your own. Stay in your safe zone. Just be a Christian who “minds his business.”
But if you want to win battles, you must be willing to cross over. And crossing means risk, confrontation, cliffs, and decisions others won’t understand.
Jonathan didn’t wait to hear a voice from heaven. He made a move, and as he moved, he looked for confirmation.
Some of you are waiting for an angel to appear before you obey. But faith doesn’t always look like certainty. Sometimes it’s “perhaps.”
It’s okay to ask for a sign. Jonathan said, “If they tell us to come up, that will be the sign.” And when that happened, he moved. No delay.
Real territory is only recovered by those who leave comfort behind.
