Delay, Disobedience, and Loss

Sometimes disobedience means someone else takes your place. You delay, and someone else responds.

Hebrews 4 says, “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart.” Every time you delay, your heart gets a bit harder. That’s why some people become completely dull. They were always postponing obedience. Always delaying. Always telling God, “Later.”

The Israelites delayed in entering the Promised Land. What happened? They lost it. A whole generation lost.
