Hunger is a gift. God gave it to you so you could seek Him, desire Him, be filled with Him. But the devil knows that too, and he’s after your appetite.
He can’t create hunger, so he tries to hijack it. He gives you alternatives—things that feel good in the moment but kill you slowly. He distracts you with noise, food, lust, entertainment—just to keep you from feeding on truth.
And if he can keep you eating the wrong thing long enough, you’ll lose your taste for God. You’ll sit in church bored. You’ll hear truth and scroll past it. You’ll become numb.
That’s how many people fell—not in one day, but through stolen hunger. They were once desperate for God, but they stopped feeding on His word. They stopped obeying. And slowly, other cravings took over.
Because what you crave will shape who you become.
