Even God’s Gifts Come With Challenges

Even the things God gives you come with trouble. Go and ask Adam. How long was he married before he turned around and told God, “It’s the woman you gave me”? Even the one God gave him came with trouble.

Parents know this. We are delighted with our children, but you also know children can be a handful.

Every good thing God gives you comes with challenges. So how much more the one He didn’t give you? That one comes with a curse. Zechariah 5 says, “This is a curse that will go into the house of every thief and liar.” So when you take things not written in the plan for you, those things will cause trouble.
