You cannot assume that because God moved once, He will move the same way again. Moses struck the rock before, water came out, and the people drank. But when God told him the second time to speak to the rock, he refused and struck it again. Water came out—the power moved—but Moses lost the promised land.
That’s the danger of walking with God and seeing power—you may come to the place where you think you no longer need His instructions before you act. Many men of God have fallen this way. They remain popular, the power still moves, but God has already called them aside.
Never come to the place where you act without instructions. God does not stamp everything you do. He has His own plans, and your responsibility is to find out what those plans are before moving.
