Who likes David in the Bible? Who noticed that he seemed to win every battle? How? Because the most common statement you hear next to David and a battle is: “And David inquired of the Lord.”
When you go to fight battles, do you inquire? Why did David need to inquire even when he had a habit of winning? Because he knew the secret of his victories—he always asked God first.
May you understand this. May you understand that this is greater warfare than shouting every night for seven months. That if you will learn to ask God:
“Father, what’s Your plan in all things?
Father, let Your will be done.
Father, guide me.
Lord, if it’s not You, block it.
Lord, I commit my way to You, direct my path.”
