Mercy Through Knowledge

God shows mercy through His power and His truth. Whenever God gives you light, opens your eyes, informs you, that is mercy. That knowledge is mercy. Have you ever been in a situation where you didn’t know the way, got into a vehicle, and the driver took you around unnecessarily? Later, you find out it was just a short distance away. Imagine if someone had just walked up to you and said, “Excuse me, it’s just 20 steps to the right, see the red gate,” and walked away. That person showed mercy.

Mercy often comes through knowledge, small or seemingly insignificant information that could save you time, money, or even from danger. Don’t downplay the person who bothers to give you knowledge. Don’t treat the person lightly who gives you information that can save your life. Knowledge is an act of mercy. It is the power of God, extremely valuable. Good knowledge saves you from bad trouble. Wise people pay any price for knowledge; fools ignore it.
