Public Declaration Is War

Some of you are not born again. Some of you were, but you stopped caring. Some of you have never made a public declaration. To confess Jesus as Lord means to acknowledge Him openly. You cannot hide it. That’s why many cannot stand as Christians. Every time you claim you follow God in secret, it carries no weight.

Let heaven see. Let earth see. Demons already know what you are, but humans don’t. And you will be judged according to your actions. So don’t say, “God saw my heart.” No—He saw your actions.

To publicly declare allegiance is an act of war. This is warfare. That is what happens when you say, “Jesus is Lord.” You are saying concerning all the other lords and gods: “You are not my Lord. Jesus is Lord.”
