“Come now, let us reason together,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool” (Isaiah 1:18).
People think the way you get God to do something is by shouting at Him. He is not intimidated. Even Satan is not intimidated by your shouting. In the Scriptures, demons shouted at the top of their voices. They shrieked when Jesus cast them out. That is what demons do. So how can you think shouting is what makes demons leave? They are not moved by your sound. They are moved by the weapons of the Spirit.
I’ve cast out demons with the words, “Leave, now,” spoken lightly, not shouted. I’ve told demons to keep quiet in a voice so low the person beside me didn’t even hear, but the demon heard. The proof was the person’s deliverance.
And if demons are not intimidated by shouting, do you think God, who created your shouting voice, will be intimidated?
Yet many Christians still believe warfare is shouting, because in their minds warfare equals violence. But real warfare is reasoning with God and wielding the true weapons of the Spirit, not trying to win by noise.
