Many believers only cry “the enemy is attacking us” after destruction shows up — after the scandal, the loss, the disgrace. But by the time consequences arrive, the enemy has long finished his work.
The real attack began when lust quietly slipped in… when a lie was told without repentance… when anger found a room in your heart… when your thoughts turned wicked and no one saw.
By the time the family is falling apart, the groundwork was laid years ago — in private sins, in unchecked emotions, in falsehoods spoken without conviction. But Christians only start praying after the house is on fire.
Jesus showed us that the true war isn’t only with witches or ancestral curses — it’s with the sin in your own heart. That’s the battleground. That’s where the Watchman should be standing guard.
Stop calling it an attack only when disaster comes. Start recognizing the enemy when sin is knocking on your own door.
