When you go out to evangelize, don’t focus solely on the weak or easy targets. Yes, reaching the lost is important, but in spiritual battle, you must think strategically. Target those with influence—leaders who shape the direction of others. Often, we overlook this in our outreach, spending energy on those already struggling, forgetting that reaching those in power can change everything.
Think of it this way: in a kingdom, power lies not with the foot soldiers but with the leaders, the generals, the king. True, lasting change comes when the leader is transformed—the rest of the army follows, and the kingdom shifts.
Reaching others is important, but targeting the strong has a ripple effect. If you reach the captain, the rest of the troops will be impacted. A leader’s transformation influences many, so your focus should shift from just helping the weak to influencing those who can bring about wider change.
In spiritual warfare, it’s not about targeting the obvious but going for the heart of the operation. Who is leading the charge against the Kingdom of Light? Who holds sway over the enemy’s camp? Pray for, intercede for, and reach out to them. Aim for the strong, for once they are reached, they will lead many others to change.
The Kingdom of God isn’t just about numbers; it’s about influence. When you target the one with the most influence, you change everything around them. So, when you evangelize, don’t just aim for the weak and lost. Go after the king, because when you reach the king, the rest of the kingdom will follow.
