Isaiah said Jesus came to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour and the day of vengeance. But when Jesus came the first time, He read only the year of favour and stopped. He rolled up the scroll. That was deliberate. He was telling us that this first coming was about salvation, not vengeance.
For 2,000 years, this door has been open. You are here. You are alive. That door is still open. When you die, it closes. One thing you need to come through that door is humility. One thing that will stop you is pride and foolishness.
You don’t make anything work in the kingdom of God. You come through the door, and He does the working. When you enter the door of God’s favour, there is favour upon favour. Forgiveness. Deliverance. Healing. The gift of the Spirit. Callings. Provision. All of it is available.
But you cannot ask for what you do not know is available. Once you know, you ask. And when you ask, you receive. This is the day of favour. Don’t say you were not told.
