The Rules Of Warfare

Psalm 89 says, “I have bestowed strength on a warrior.” Before God crushes enemies, before He strikes down adversaries, first He strengthens a warrior. That means the rules of war are clear: wars are fought by soldiers. Civilians don’t fight war well.

Many of you, your lives feel like you are in a gutter—stinking, muddy, disgusting. But God sees it, and He wants to set you free. The question is, will you become a warrior? Will you allow God to anoint you with His oil? The anointing oil carried fragrance. When God finds you, He perfumes you with His presence, and demons can smell it.

A Hindu priest once tried to kill a preacher, but an angel stood behind him and warned, “If you touch him, I’ll kill you.” That is what the oil of God creates—an atmosphere of divine protection.
