The Soul Is The Primary Battlefield

The first battleground is the soul. Your soul is the arena where the devil seeks to gain a foothold. From as early as childhood, even before birth, he attempts to plant something that will give him a handle in your life. That abortion attempt, that molestation at two years old, those strange events you thought were accidents—they were deliberate attacks to create a crack in your soul.

These things are not unique to you. They are common. The devil is thorough in his warfare. He injects something and leaves, knowing that wound will serve him for years. Sometimes it comes through lineage, where your forefathers made covenants that opened doors for generations. You were not even alive, yet the consequences followed you.

This is why you must come to Jesus to seal those cracks. Jesus Himself said, “The prince of this world comes, but he has nothing on Me.” That must be your testimony too. The soul is a major battleground, and you must learn to deal with it properly.
