Jesus said, “What I tell you in the dark, say it in the daylight. What is whispered in your ear—shout it from the rooftops.”
It’s not everything God tells you in secret that must remain secret. There’s a time to whisper, and there’s a time to declare.
Samuel was told in his ear, “This is the one,” when Saul showed up. But later, he gathered the whole of Israel and said, “This is the one.” It started in secret, but it ended on the rooftop.
That’s a principle: knowing when to speak and when to be quiet is part of prophetic responsibility. You don’t whisper when it’s time to declare.
Many of us are guilty of being quiet permanently. You hold everything in until you die. You think it’s humility, but it’s disobedience.
If God said to speak—speak.
