Jesus warned clearly in Matthew 12:43–45 that when an unclean spirit leaves a person, it goes through dry places seeking rest, and when it finds none, it returns to see its former house. If it finds that house empty and swept, it brings seven spirits worse than itself, and the person’s state becomes worse than before.
That means it is not enough to cast out evil; we must invite the Spirit of God to dwell. When fear goes, boldness must come. When depression leaves, joy must take its place. When heaviness is lifted, the garment of praise must be worn instead (Isaiah 61:3).
If you fail to replace what you displace, you allow the enemy to refill the space. Deliverance is not just removal—it is occupancy. It is not just emptying—it is filling. That is how true transformation is sustained.
