You don’t get to define what is good or bad. That’s God’s job.
Many people today operate by their personal standards: “I think this is fine.” “To me, this isn’t really a sin.” But God didn’t appoint you as judge. You’re the clay, not the potter.
He has already defined what is right and what is wrong. Your opinion doesn’t change His Word. Your feelings don’t overrule His laws.
That’s what happened in the Garden of Eden—they wanted to decide for themselves what was good and evil. That’s not just disobedience; that’s rebellion.
If you claim to follow Jesus, you must let Him define your morals. You don’t pick and choose what commands to follow. You don’t reason your way out of clear instructions.
Humility means submitting to His definitions—even when it’s uncomfortable. If He says it’s sin, then it is. Period.
