TITLE: Emergency in the Cafeteria
MISSION: Operation Share Truth
REPORTED BY: Agent C.H.D
DATE: 26 JUN 24

We [a group of ten students] went to the school’s cafeteria to evangelise. We started praying at about 2:45 p.m. Agent G.J. anchored the prayer session. Agent V. then began preaching at about 3:10 p.m. in the most amazing fashion. Before we could position the loudspeaker in a proper place, while we were still walking, I heard:

“Emergency! Emergency! Emergency! Emergency! Listen up everybody! There’s an emergency! There’s someone I need to tell everyone here about!”

I was so shocked that I almost took cover, thinking it was a physical emergency. Everyone’s attention was on him. There was grave quietness in the hall, and he continued speaking. I doubt I can describe the exhortation properly, but he was walking along almost every aisle in the hall, looking people in their faces while telling them to repent and follow God.

A few minutes into his charge, he knelt on the floor with a sober countenance to buttress his point on the need to be born again. He was in that position for over 10 minutes!

A boy and a girl were sitting close to where he was standing to preach at some point. The boy’s arms were around the girl’s neck. At this point, he was speaking about the dangers of bad company. Suddenly, he walked up to them, sat beside them, and was passionately talking about how evil company will corrupt good manners.

It was so wild, everyone was looking at him. I was terrified. I even wished I did not know Agent V.

At some point, he talked about immoral relationships. He said, paraphrasing:

“All of you who have boyfriends and girlfriends here, show me where it is in the Bible—show me!”

The whole hall roared in shock and disagreement, but he paid deaf ears to their murmurs and continued to speak. The audience had become somewhat noisy at this point, but many people were still actually listening to him.

It was time to call people to join him in prayer. Agent V. went on his knees, and at some point while praying, he said:

“Lord, I ask You to scatter every relationship that is taking people away from You.”

And people shouted, “Amen!” Some people laughed, but I believe everyone felt the prayer point because it was really piercing. I wanted to hide my face; I was wondering, “Who sent Agent V. to do this one?” but we had to compose ourselves and shout “Amen!” as well to his prayers.

Next, he said:

“Everyone under the sound of my voice is implicated!”
That is, that God should end their wrong relationships also, and people shouted another “Amen!”

I was more tempted than ever to deny Agent V. at that point, but I reasoned that he was simply exemplifying boldness in declaring the Gospel. When he finished praying, he spoke to a particular boy and girl and got some contact details for follow-up.

The rest of us moved into the crowd to speak with people as well. It was such a bold way to preach, and we all learnt not to be cowardly.

God be praised!
