I heard, “I am sending you out to the next battlefield. You have fought with Me and have not prevailed. You have now learnt that I am your God. Now brace up, I am taking you through another phase. It will be like a torrent, but trust in Me and just obey. Just obey. Pick up your gears and prepare to face the enemy.”
Then I saw myself armed with a bow and a quiver full of arrows. It looked like I was shooting at the enemies from a watchtower. I shot the arrows skillfully, taking each enemy down with every shot. Then I realised that I had been shot on the shoulder, and what was written on the arrow was PRIDE.
It seemed like the arrow had been there for a while, but I was still able to shoot, even with the arrow in my shoulder. With time, my arm grew weak and I was unable to shoot with precision. The longer the arrow remained, the weaker the arm, and this weakness began to spread to the rest of my body.
Then I heard, “Be alert so you won’t be taken unawares. The enemy is prowling, waiting for you to lose guard so he can take you out.”
I also heard, “Be of cheer, and delight only in Me, and I will give you peace all round.”
