You put on all your armor. You show up every day. You’re ready for war. But you return with no blood, no spoils, no visible victory — just a clean sword and more questions.
That’s how it must have felt to the Israelites marching around Jericho — fully dressed for battle, yet doing nothing but walking in silence. Day after day. People must have laughed. Their own families likely wondered, “Is this how men fight wars?”
But when God fights, it’s not by might or clever tactics. It’s by obedience.
God’s strategy often feels foolish — until it works. And when it works, everyone wants a selfie with you. But before then, you look like a joke.
If you want to fight God’s battles, you must first be clothed in righteousness. You must lay down your methods and pick up His instructions, no matter how absurd they seem.
Stop chasing principalities and pulling down spirits just because it looks spiritual. If God says, “March in silence,” then march. If He says, “Blow the trumpet,” blow. His ways are higher. You win by walking with Him — not by copying warfare trends.
