Some people don’t understand what witchcraft is. We think it’s just charms, feathers, a shrine in the bush. But the Bible says it can come from your own household (Deuteronomy 13:6–10).
They won’t say, “Let’s go worship Satan.” No — they’ll say:
“Have you tried this thing?”
“There’s this practice our ancestors used to have.”
“The white man’s Jesus never did anything for me, but ever since I started talking to my ancestors…”
That’s witchcraft.
A former choir leader said that. She sits in front of her small ancestral altar and talks to spirits. And she used to lead people in worship previously. She says Jesus was a scam, and she’s not hiding anymore. That’s where the world is going — our own people who grew up in church are returning to the gods our fathers never knew.
And the Bible says — do not listen to them. Do not shield them. Do not show pity. Expose them. Because when you hide one person enticed by foreign gods, you put a whole nation in danger.
In Israel, they didn’t listen. They covered their loved ones, and the witchcraft spread like rot through the camp. And God judged them — whole generations perished. If they had just exposed that one uncle who returned from Damascus with a strange god, if they had obeyed and purged the evil, thousands — millions — could have been spared.
But they shielded him. Just like you’re ignoring your favorite influencer or relative who uses “energy”, “ancestors”, and “your truth” instead of Scripture.
You must fear God more than you fear offending someone.
