#132 | Nigeria’s Rebirth: David Livingstone Prophecy

The Vision of David Livingstone

I saw some of our ancestors standing with David Livingstone some days or weeks before the popular paper headline, “David Livingstone, I presume?” trended in the early 1800s.

I saw that David Livingstone had his excess, but it wasn’t forever that way with him — because he saw a vision of Nigeria and how it saved Europe.
He could barely believe it, but it was something that changed how he was.
He began speaking this vision to the elders around him and became more kind towards them.
He began bothering to understand, but his own people did not believe him.

I also saw that he had prayed for Nigeria.
Funnily enough, according to my limited knowledge of history in the area of Livingstone’s life, I’m not even aware that he came to this part of West Africa, so I was really surprised.

I saw that we had ancestors who embraced the missionaries and prayed for the new Nigeria even before the nation was amalgamated and had a name.

Our ancestors called it,

“The last lap to the birthing of a nation.”

It looked like a promised land to them, just as Canaan was to the children of Israel.
