Most people don’t enjoy God’s favour because they refuse to pay the small price He asks. “Come out.” “Sit down.” “Listen.” That is all. But pride says no.
A sister greets an elderly man on the road. Just, “Good morning, sir.” Later, that same man calls her out of a crowd and attends to her first. Why? She humbled herself. She didn’t know he would matter. She did what was right. Do what is right because it is right. That is righteousness.
People say nonsense: “Jesus is your righteousness, so do anything you like.” That is a lie. You will never enjoy the same things. Ask the people preaching it what they did before they entered what they are operating in. Ask them if they laid on their bed and rolled around, then woke up anointed.
There is a price. There has always been a price. Even salvation required you to open your mouth. You confessed. You asked. You humbled yourself. You did something. You did not get born again by thinking.
