In 1st Kings 20, when Ahab fought Ben-Hadad, after being defeated, the enemy said: remove the kings from their commands and replace them with officers. Change the leadership. Change the strategy.
Principalities and powers plan; they adjust. If money won’t work, they try something else. If that won’t work, they try another method. They look for what fits the person.
That is why you must recognize your weak points. If every time you travel you fall, don’t travel. If staying up at 1 a.m. leads you into pornography, restructure your sleep time. The enemy adapts.
After the first victory, you say the storm is over, but the prophet says, “strengthen your position.” He is coming again. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. God gives warnings—not to frighten you, but to equip you.
You cannot say, “God is powerful, let Him handle it”, while you ignore protocol. There is strategy in war. There is obedience. There is posture. There is repentance. There is humility.
