Psalm 2 says the kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against His Anointed. That means it is organized. It is deliberate. You were not unlucky; it was planned and was executed.
Genesis 3:1 says the serpent was more subtle. Trickish. Our enemy is not foolish. Do not underestimate him, but do not overestimate him either. What you are supposed to know is your God, not just the threat.
When the man of God came to the king of Israel in 1 Kings 20:28, he said, “Because the Arameans think the Lord is a God of the hills and not of the valleys, I will deliver this vast army into your hands and you will know that I am the Lord.” He said it again. The promise was repeated.
If God gives a promise, there is only one way to act. Act as though it is true. If He says, “I will help you,” then He will help you. If He says, “Go,” then go. Forget how it looks.
The enemy thinking God is limited is one thing. You agreeing with him is another. “Those were the days of old. That was the 30s. That was when men were men.” If you join that kind of talk, even quietly in your mind, you have reduced God.
If there is a word that at the end of the age there will be a church, an army that crushes Satan, it will happen. With you or without you. Your cooperation is invited, it is not required. God will send someone. If nobody agrees, He will raise something. It will be filled with His Spirit and it will move. The question is whether you will be part of it.
