You can push and push—and God will give you what you are insisting on. But it does not mean He approved it.
They said, “We want meat. Manna is not enough.” God said, “Give them meat.” Even Moses was confused, but God insisted.
Meat came in excess, piled all around the camp. They gathered it, cooked it, ate it. But while the meat was still in their mouth, before it was even consumed, they began to die.
Who gave them the meat? God. But He was angry while giving it (Numbers 11:33).
That is what people don’t understand. You can force outcomes through persistence, emotional prayers, bold declarations—and still be outside God’s will.
“Father, this year, before June…” You are bold—but how do you know? Except God has spoken clearly and said, “I am giving you this,” you are taking a risk.
Many people have done these things and it worked. But what was the outcome later? Five years after, what happened? Sometimes when it failed, that was God showing you mercy. Because if He allowed it, it would destroy you down the line.
I learned this many years ago. I stopped trying to force things. I stopped asking for everything. And yet, I have received more than I could ask or imagine.
Things I did not even pray for—when it was time, He brought them. No stress. No pressure.
You think if you don’t speak, you will miss it. No. When it is time, He will give it—even if you did not ask.
So be wise. Trust Him, and stop pushing for what He has not said.
