Resettling the land is not just a personal task; it is a community effort. We must care enough to help others fill their empty spaces too. “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2). When someone has given up a wrong relationship, a habit, or a destructive pattern, don’t just congratulate them—help them rebuild. Find ways to engage them meaningfully. Ask questions. Invite them out. Share a book. Recommend godly fellowship.
Leaders cannot be everywhere. Not everyone knows how to listen to the Spirit’s voice. That’s why we need believers who are present, alert, and willing to step in. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27). But some sheep still need guidance and company until they learn to walk steadily.
Let us pay the price for others. Let us be intentional in helping people remain planted. When you notice someone drifting, act before it’s too late. Redirect their time and attention toward things that build them up. This is how we resettle the land — not just by removing evil, but by ensuring good stays planted.
“And let us not be weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9).
