#203 | The Influence of the Spirit of Worry

While we prayed concerning worry, and deliverance from worry and anxiety as a church, I saw a vision of an older woman that had a very wrinkled face. When I saw her at first, I had a strong impression that she was the spirit of worry.

As I looked at her, I wondered how she operated, and I saw her go behind someone (specifically a male) and hugged him so tightly. Because of the weakness of her embrace and how comfortable she made him feel, he accepted her further into his arms to the extent that she came inside of him and turned him into an old woman.

When he became an old woman, he began to wrinkle and fade away like old people. He was worried about everything and complained about everything.

The impression I had was that this spirit was accompanied or empowered by the spirit of complaining and murmuring.

I heard,

“Worrying makes the heart sick. It makes you disregard the goodness of God in your life. Worry makes you complain and murmur as the Israelites did.
Do not worry, do not complain. Live every day as though the Lord has it in store for you, the things He has planned out.”

After I heard this, I had an impression that freedom from worry will restore people’s youth to them, because it seemed like the oppression of worry was taking away their youth and making them look older than they were.

I saw that when this spirit of worry came out of this particular young man, he looked much younger than he was before.
