#200 | The Path to Your Inheritance

While we worshipped God and sang the song, “We say thank you,” I found myself being handed a pair of sunglasses.
In response, I prayed for the Lord to help us see ourselves as He sees us.
Pastor later prayed for us to be given eye salves and eyes to see.

Later, it seemed I was walking with someone, and I was showing him the land we were both walking on.
After showing him a part of the land, I stood at the border of a river.
From there, I saw a breathtaking city beyond, adorned with vibrant lights and towering buildings.
Two words resonated in my mind — the inheritance and the promised land.

I stretched out one of my arms to show the person the beautiful part of the land beyond the river.
Immediately, I saw the river, and the River Jordan came to my mind.
To reach this breathtaking land, one would have to cross the river and continue walking.
The land seemed further away from the Jordan river.

While standing at the border of the river, I heard a voice saying,
“To get to the inheritance, you would have to first cross the Jordan river — the valley of the shadow of death.”
The voice stopped speaking for a while, then continued:
“Although some call it stress, God is shaping you.”

A picture of someone who looked tired flashed through my mind, and I recalled Sister I’s testimony, where she said that she was tired and desired a break.

Then, an image emerged — a marred molded clay of a human body with the right hand broken off into the breast region.
The voice returned, saying,
“Although you are marred, He is shaping you.”

I was taken back to the scene at the Jordan river.
There was something I had called an invisible path that was at the center of the Jordan.
I perceived that this path was only visible to those who had crossed the Jordan river.
I heard,
“Those that have crossed the Jordan are familiar with this path.”

I saw a person smile while walking on this invisible path, and Psalms 23:5 was brought to my mind:
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.”

Finally, I heard the voice say,
“It is those who have crossed the Jordan that will get to their inheritances.”
