There is a kind of prayer that only comes from people who know they have no other option.
If God does not help them, nobody can. And strangely, those kinds of people often develop very strong faith.
Not because poverty is holy. Not because suffering automatically makes someone spiritual. But because dependence teaches things comfort never will.
Some people have so many alternatives that they never truly lean on God.
Every problem has a quick escape route.
A problem appears: Call somebody. Move money around. Find another option.
And because money can solve many earthly problems, some people never learn deep trust in God.
Meanwhile, there are people who survive only because they learned how to cry to God sincerely.
That is why scripture says God chose the poor of this world to be rich in faith (James 2:5).
Because when a person has seen God come through for them repeatedly, trust becomes natural. They know what it means to depend on heaven. And honestly, some people only discovered prayer because life removed every other support system.
That is why difficult seasons should not be wasted.
Some people come out of hardship with bitterness. Others come out knowing God personally.
Faith grows fastest where human confidence is weakest.
