A person may be born again and still remain trapped in certain areas of life.
Do you truly believe He can save that area?
Many Christians believe Jesus can save their spirit, but they do not believe He can save them from a particular bondage.
They believe He can forgive sins, but they doubt He can break an addiction.
They believe He can take them to heaven, but they doubt He can restore a damaged mind.
They believe He can save others, but not them.
That is unbelief.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)
If there is an area where you struggle to believe God, find what God has said concerning that matter. Search the Scriptures. Seek counsel. Ask questions. Learn.
Many people treat salvation casually.
They rush forward with little understanding, little conviction, and little seriousness.
But God is not a hobby. He is not an accessory. He is not something you add to your life while continuing as before.
The Lord deserves to be taken seriously.
If Jesus is truly Lord, then He deserves more than a casual response.
