While praying, I saw a dual carriage road. However, I noticed that all the cars on that road were headed in the same direction, which is unusual for that kind of road. There were more cars on the left side of the road than on the right, and they were all headed toward a hill.
The cars on the right were moving at a moderate speed, while the cars on the left were on reverse. The impression I had was that the reversal wasn’t on purpose; they actually thought they were moving forward, but they weren’t.
The cars on the right got to a straight and smooth road after driving past the hill. The road was darker and colder because there was a mountain ahead.
The scripture Psalms 97:2 came to mind:
“Clouds and darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.”
The cars drove ahead and stopped at the foot of the mountain. Everyone in the cars was meant to alight and climb the mountain.
However, there were some people who, when they saw the mountain, decided that they couldn’t climb it and turned back. They headed back to go through the dark road and down the hill.
I heard:
“Darkness is not friendly for the disobedient.”
I had the impression that it will not be easy for whoever turns back.
Then I saw that there was a shortcut on the left side of the road with a sign that read:
“Do not use this shortcut.”
Those who saw the sign laughed, believing it was just like in movies where people go on to push a button they were instructed not to push.
So they turned into the road, and as they drove on, I noticed that quicksand began to swallow their cars. It swallowed the cars so fast that the car coming behind could not notice that there was quicksand there, or that the car in front of it had been swallowed.
I had an impression of fleshliness swallowing up people when they try to use shortcuts to get to God.
