As we prayed after the song “Jericho Fall Down”, I heard a mighty voice say,
“Let my people go!”
And then I heard the response,
“I will not let them go!”
Now, I had the impression that the first voice was not God the Father’s, but it seemed to be an angelic being or a certain being on the side of light that had authority—something like that.
But then I saw the spirit who had said, “I will not let them go.” I had the impression that it was the spirit that held the souls of God’s people in captivity. This being was already holding on to someone, and as we prayed, I saw thin strips of rope come out of our mouths and wrap all around it.
We all surrounded the being, and out of each person’s mouth, a thin rope came out and kept fastening and wrapping around the being. The being was being pulled away by this rope from the person.
Then, the being began to sniff the ropes one after the other; it seemed like it was looking for the scent of something. One by one, as soon as it sensed something of its own, its face would relax, and the rope would cut.
Bound or Free? The Captor’s Hold on You
I saw that if it could sense different traits or characters that had to do with Egypt, the rope would cut. On one of the ropes, “envy” was written. As soon as it sniffed out envy, the rope cut from him. Another was “anger,” another was “greed.”
Then it said,
“How can you free others when you are bound? You cannot have what is of me and come against me. You are within my scope.”
I sensed that it did not have the power to touch or harm us, neither did we—with all those things—have the power to touch or harm it.
