Nothing God does is random. Jesus was not born by accident. The Bible says He came “when the fullness of time had come.” (Galatians 4:4–5)
God has always been working according to His timetable.
From Adam to Abraham was about two thousand years. From Abraham to Christ was about another two thousand years.
On the fourth day of creation, God made the greater light, the lesser light, and the stars. That was not merely about the sun and moon. (Genesis 1:14–19)
It pointed prophetically to Christ. Jesus is the greater light, the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings. (Malachi 4:2; John 8:12)
The Church, filled with the Holy Spirit, is the lesser light. (Songs of Solomon 6:10, Revelations 12:1)
God’s people shine like the stars. (Daniel 12:3; Philippians 2:15)
Everything follows His plan.
Before that, God had been separating waters, bringing forth plants, allowing different kinds of knowledge, philosophies, theories, and ideas to appear in the earth. *(Genesis 1:6–13)*
Human beings have been eating from many different trees, consuming all kinds of teachings. Nothing has surprised God. He has been following His creation process from the very beginning. That is why we can be confident concerning the future.
God is not reacting. He is unfolding what He determined long ago and everything is moving according to the purpose of God.
