It became normal for me to notice that some people are inactive not because they are wrong, but because it is their season of peace. Later, when they move, you hear how God lifts them.
It is not night forever. It is night, then day. If you observe carefully as you grow in the Lord, you will see this pattern and learn to cooperate with God instead of fighting Him.
When night comes, rejoice in advance. Day is coming. Only God determines the length of your night and your day.
Wise people learn to pull aside. Even as busy as I am, there are seasons I disappear. One week. Two weeks. Sometimes longer. That is a night season. It is often preceded by a heaviness, a weight. Nothing may be physically wrong. You may lack nothing. But your spirit knows it is time to pause.
Jesus went aside to pray long before sunrise. That means night. Wise people also learn something else: when you hear prophecies of a coming morning, create a night. Pull aside. Wait on God.
Many problems come from people who jump from day to day. When their night comes, they try to jump over it. That is where trouble begins. Program to program. Then problem to problem. They don’t understand what they are doing.
