One of the biggest lies people believe is that their situation is too complicated for God.
They know every detail of the problem. They can explain where it started. They know who hurt them. They know how long they have struggled. They know why they think they cannot change.
The tribes of Joseph did the same thing. They explained that the enemy had iron chariots. Their analysis was accurate. (Joshua 17:14–18)
Joshua did not deny the facts. He simply answered, “You can drive them out.”
The size of the enemy was never the issue. Their response to God’s word was.
Many people quietly believe God is powerful, just not powerful enough for this area of their lives. They would never say those words, but their continued unbelief says it for them.
If Satan was able to plant something, is God unable to uproot it?
If the enemy established bondage, is your God unable to destroy it?
There comes a point where excuses must end. After hearing the truth, your responsibility is to obey it.
God never told Israel to calculate whether the chariots were stronger. He told them to drive the enemy out.
Don’t spend your life proving how difficult your problem is. Spend your life believing what God said.
