Revelation 12 shows the full pattern: the devil deceives, and then he accuses. He leads people astray, and after deceiving them, he turns around to accuse them before God.
He’s the one who says, “Go ahead, nothing will happen,” and when you fall, he says, “See what you did?” He tempts you to open a website you shouldn’t, then condemns you for doing it. He pushes you to give money wrongly, then mocks you for being foolish. That’s his method—deception first, accusation next.
That’s why Scripture calls him the accuser of the brethren. He deceives you into sin and then uses that same sin to accuse you before God.
He’s found in two main places: before people, deceiving them; and before God, accusing them. And his purpose is the same in both—to lead you away from life and destroy your confidence before God.
Revelation 12:10; “For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.”
