A man invites a pastor to dedicate his house. He enters a very beautiful, expensive house. When asked what he does for a living, he says he is a gigolo, sleeping with rich women. That is how he built it. And yet he is part of church life, actively involved.
This is the confusion many people live in. Nobody has properly explained to them what salvation is, and some do not even want to know. They just know “this Jesus thing works,” so they come in with a mindset of results, not repentance.
They try Jesus the same way people try alternatives. They come into church looking for what works for their problems. They are told to join departments, pay tithe, wake up at night to pray, do certain spiritual activities. It becomes a system of steps.
So they enter, follow the steps, but nothing changes inside them. They remain the same people. No encounter with God, no new heart, no real transformation. Just activity layered on top of an unchanged life.
Even the practices become transactional. Special oils for different needs. Bottles labeled for different breakthroughs. Everything structured around solutions to needs, not new birth.
At the end, many people are active in church but have never met God. They are inside religious systems but outside salvation.
