Many people wake up at midnight to pray, but they are not seeking God. They are seeking the devil. They wake up to fight enemies. That is confusion.
If you wake up at midnight to seek God, to study His word, to understand His will, that is good. But many are not doing that. They are chasing enemies in prayer. And they have been doing it for years with no result.
Does the Bible not say in 1 John 5 that if you ask according to His will, He hears you? So why is He not hearing you? It is because you are not praying according to His will.
His will [as revealed in the Bible] already told you—your warfare is not physical. But you insist on fighting physically in prayer. That is why nothing is changing.
When people came and began to focus on the word, on understanding, on correct doctrine, something happened. The fears stopped. The attacks in dreams stopped. The constant sense of being chased stopped.
Why? Because the real battle was addressed. The argument in the mind was torn down. That is the warfare. Until that is corrected, you will keep running in circles, calling it prayer, but seeing no result.
