Be very careful about despising the call of God.
People sometimes act as though God owes them an explanation when He calls them into His service.
They weigh His invitation against their own plans. They compare His purpose with their personal ambitions.
The Creator of heaven and earth says, “Come and work for Me.” The King above all kings says, “I have chosen you for an assignment.”
Instead of rejoicing, some people begin negotiating.
Do you realize what an honour it is when God calls a person into His service?
God is not begging for workers because He lacks options. He is extending a privilege. One day many people will understand clearly what they treated lightly.
Be careful not to despise what heaven values. Be careful not to treat lightly what God has chosen.
There is a future full of regret for those who consistently reject God’s purposes while pursuing their own. (Luke 7:30)
When God assigns, wisdom obeys.
