TITLE: A MALTREATED AND ABUSED NATION
WATCHMAN: AGENT E.E.M

While we sang, “We Bless You, Nigeria”, I saw Nigeria hiding in the middle of two mountains. She looked battered and bruised. There was a bandage on her right cheek and she looked dishevelled.
I had the impression that she had been bullied and had gone into hiding out of fear. I also got that she suffered from low self-esteem because of the way she had been treated by other nations.
She heard us singing, blessing her and was wondering what was happening and who we were. She was surprised that we were blessing and appreciating her, something she wasn’t used to, as she was more used to being cursed.
She began to wonder if she could trust us because she had trusted several people who only ended up harming her.
I saw a few young people come to raise her up from where she was hiding and try to make her feel at ease. I felt these people represented us, and I had the impression that the older Christians did not care so much about her. It took quite a while for her to trust us and rise up.
I had also seen a little boy walk over to her and wipe her face; he felt pity for her.
When she finally rose up to join us in rejoicing, I saw that she had three eggs that she was protecting. They were like triplets, and I got that they were Unity, Peace and Progress.
The reason she had been attacked, bullied and beaten, was because she had been trying to protect these eggs. She had covered them with her body, and taken all the blows and shots aimed at the eggs.
Then she pointed to two things that were her problem. She pointed to the politicians and the church leaders. She explained that they made her afraid, and it was another reason she had gone into hiding.
She said that whenever they wanted to comfort her or stroke the hair that flowed down her back, their long nails dug into her skin like claws and they caused terrible injuries. Blood would always flow.
I felt really bad for her.
I prayed and saw the nails of those people clipped off, but I felt they were going to grow again. I wondered what the solution would be. What came to mind was that they have a change of mind, know to keep their nails short and exercise self-control in not letting them grow long.
Eventually, she joined us to dance and began to sway gradually. She was accepting the things we were saying, and her wounds were healing as she did.
I also saw chains falling off her.
I had also seen Nigeria as a dog on a leash, and this leash was in the hands of other nations. They maltreated her at will and did whatever they liked.
[Pastor mentioned this in the course of singing blessings on Nigeria].
Then I saw the leash on fire, and the nations couldn’t hold it anymore. Nigeria became free.
